请教关于DS-230

I receive a notice from NVC to fill out the form DS-230 (Application for immigrant visa and allien registration).

I saw many people talk about I485, why didnot NVC ask me to fill out the form I485 instead of DS-230?

What are the different between DS-230 and I485.

I am applying F4 (family VISA) and I only fill out I130 before.

Do I need to fill out the I485 too?
