回复：我这样的条件申请公民行吗？

我绿卡是07年6月底拿到，至10年5月底我已在美工作35个月。10年5月22日我们一家回国，我在家照顾孩子上学没工作。我和孩子都是绿卡。10年11月22日我一人短期来美，

选项（1）一年来一次度假，

选项（2）申请白皮书两年来一次，

选项（3）干脆不来任绿卡过期，等将来如有需要，我以公民身份替他申请（请问以18岁以前申请好，还是21岁以前申请好？）。

 

从经济角度着想，我个人考虑选项（3）， 但不知可行吗？可行的话，具体该怎么操作？
