上次您说过我朋友第一次入境时会得到一个the green card stamp on the passport，然后移民局会寄绿卡来。有个问题是，不知他入境后在等待这个绿卡期间，可以先去加拿大，再回美国取绿卡？

还是必须等到收到那个绿卡后才能离开美国？

另外就是他入境时可以填申请SSN的表格吗？
