Pjiang 大侠和8老师,help for F1 学生 with 485 application

My son is a F1 student in a US college. I just submitted I485 for him based on my approved I140. I have two questions for his situation.

1. Can he still do a part-time teaching assistance after this I485 submitting?

2. Should he need to tell his international office this application?
