回复：帮朋友问，家人等待移民期间不宜来美探亲/旅游吗？

朋友给兄妹申请移民美国，还有5-6年的等待时间。这之前她的哥哥拿办移民前申请的签证来美国两次，都按时往返。现在她哥哥的签证到期了，再想来美就要重新办签证，

 

听说等待移民期间不宜签证来美，否则拒签就会影响到移民的审批，不知有没有这类规定？

-Not true in her brother's case. But the problem is that her brother has the immigration intent and thus, he will not be issued the b1/b2 visa anymore. But her brother's other family members (wife and child) will not be affected to get the B1/B2 visa.
