Because USCIS may think your parents will be helping in the household / baby-sitting etc. and USCIS does not like the B2 visitor to do that and would expect you to hire a maid or baby sitter to help out.

Your parents may say they still need to tour US to visit more places and then, address a tour plan in the cover letter.
