Help on GC

I just got married. My hu*****and got his I140 approval last Dec., and is now waiting for the I485 approval. My GC application was filed last month. How can we make sure that my case is handled together with his? Is it likely that my case is considered separately from his, so that we can't get GC together at the same time?
