老师,请问我父母的绿卡申请被拒有什么后果?

他们逾期居留.会在面试时遣返吗?
-No.

这是第一次他们申请.

再请问只申请人I-130 会使我父母在美合法居留吗?谢谢!!!!!
-No. They have to file I-485 to be legally present.
