各位专家，老师，我最近刚拿到绿卡，我妻子现在在加拿大，请问替我妻子申请绿卡的步骤是怎样的？我是否先要先替她申请 immigrant visa petition，等得到批准后她再在加拿大申请 immigrant visa，

Then, she has to keep her status valid until the priority date to be current to file I-485. So, you have to think how she can keep her status for such a long time.

因为她拿有加拿大护照，可做为visitor直接进入美国，请问她可以先呆在美国，然后再申请签证吗？
