他回去的机票订好了，是一个月后
In this case, he should come in as H4 and file I-485, then next time use H4 visa again to enter US.

If he comes in B2 and file I-485 immediately, one month is not enough for him to get AP, so that I-485 can be denied if he left US without AP.
