apply GC for parents, they should sign I485,right?

i485 Signature part:

Applicant choice:

1. I can read ........
2. every .....(thru interpreter)

which one they should choise?

Pjiang's blog just say pick #1, but they actually can't speak English.

If check 2nd one, should I put my name in the interpreter box?
