Appeal does not applys to I-485, but applys to I-140, h1, h4 etc. In your case, USCIS had no fault, so you can not win the appeal if you appeal. Only if was USCIS fault to deny your case or make wrong decision on your case, then you can win the appeal if you file the appeal.
