Basically, since you have an H1B Visa, you just need to talk to whoever your sponsor is and have them write a letter stating that they give you permission to work with "the contractor company".

That is the answer from contract company, is it legal?
-It is illegal for an H1 holder to work for the second employer unless the second employer also files another H1 petition an dget it approved. H1 is employer-specific.
