今天收到移民局关于485补件的正式信函，内容如下：
please evidence of your employment authorization from August 1,2010 to present, such evidence may include :
1）employment authorization documents（forms I-688 or I-766） granted to you by this service;
2）form I-797 approval notices, showing you were granted status in an employment-authorized nonimmigrant classification

我的情况是今年7月31日，H1 3年到期，已经申请延期，目前状态是pending, 还没收到approval notice; 绿卡类型： EB1b, 学校support.

我想请教的问题是：
1． 什么是 employment authorization documents（forms I-688 or I-766）？
-I-688 or I-766 is the EADs (differnt types of EADs such as OPT EAD, I-485 EAD, J2 EAD, etc.). If yo udo not have the EAD in this period of time, just ignore this request.

2． 移民局要的form I-797 approval notices，是否就是H1 approval notice?
-You need to provide all the H1 approval notices in this period of time. Also, provide the H1 petition receipt is the H1 extension is pending.

现在如果让学校出示一个证明我的H1 pending 状态是否可以？
--Not need it, but you need to ask your HR to give the copy of the H1 petition receipt and provide it for the RFE.
