请问专家：将递i485，老公来美用B2或H4签证好？

我刚递上i140+加快（eb1-b），老公在国内工作并准备等我140批准后过来一起办485.他现在持B签证还有半年有效期。1问：他这次应申请H4来美吗？2问：他打算等递上485、体检、指纹等材料后就回国，这样他需要申请AP吗？他的485申请会因为他离开美国而被视为自动放弃吗？请指点，谢了先！
