key to NIW application,papers?

The number of publications is crucial for the approval of NIW application or not? I just have 2 publications in USA. Many in china Journals.One of lawyer told me a small number of publications is my biggest weakness. nervous! Please tell me your experiences, if you have a same situation as mine but get I140 approval! many many thanks!
