But if USCIS approve your F1 mistakenly after you return to US with the H1 visa, your H1 will be overridden by the F1 and thus, your status will be F1 again. So, just make sure that USCIS does not approve your F1 by mistake though your F1 application is supposed to be invalid after you leave US, techincally.
