我侄女以F1身份近来读私立高中，但因为现在私立高中的费用太高了，想让她转成公立高中读（我知道那样她的身份会黑掉，真的是逼不得已才这样做 ）， 请问如果是那样的话，移民局会在什么时候知道她黑掉？
-The private high school will report it to SEVIS in about two weeks after the semeter begins and thus, USCIS will find it.

移民局会不会有办法知道她现在去上公立高中而到高中那里去捉她？
-No, of course. But she can not get her legal immigration status any more within US unless she goes out of US to get a visa to come back. She had better report to the private high school for a few weeks (she may get the tuition back if she withdraw from the school within a certain time, check the school policy), and then transfer her F1 to the public high school. She can be F1 in a public school for one year without tuition.

我真的希望她能继续读完高中，不想现在就停了。

我还有另外一个办法是， 因为她现在年龄不够读社区大学，但我可以试着让她申请，就是从国内弄个假的高中毕业证书，

然后春季的时候去上社区大学那样就可以维持她的身份，

但因为已半年没到私立高中报到，那样她的F1还能有效的转到社区大学吗？
-No more. She has to go out of US to get the F1 visa to come back. It is very possible that she may have difficult to get the F1 visa outside US due to her status 黑掉. But her unlawful presence is not subjected to the 3 year or 10 year bar even if it is for more than 6 months or one year if she is under 18 years old.
