H1B丢了工作， last paycheck: Aug 6th. There will be one more check in
September, sick days etc.

上个月面试的工作，面了5个人，成功的可能性80％吧，说是Aug 18th给我最后结果。
大公司, sponsor h1b.
background check and drug test可能会拖到8月底。

我是现在就转f1呢，还是等到Aug18不行了，再递F1申请呢？

_if you can get the job within 30 days, you should be fine to do the H1 transfer and not need to change your status to f1.
