回复：863211 and PJiang, please help

My frind's PD is 3/9/2006, （EB2, 1-140 approved years ago）.His H1 will expire on 10/1/2010 （the 6th year, his EAD will expire on 11/13/2010, Does he need to renew both H1 and EAD card? or either one or no of them?
-Either one is OK, but he had better renew the H1 for another 3 years beyond the 6 year limit (If PD become current when USCIS makes decision on the h1, the h1 may be approved for only one year). Of course, he also can renew the EAD and use it to work without renewing the H1.
Please give me advices.
