回复：求助：小孩AOS了还有没有必要renew H4?

我们全家回过中国,已是AOS, 但我一直用H1工作。现我的H1要到期了。 我想问：
1. 我小孩有必要再交钱续他的H4吗？
-Not need.

2. 如果不续，他能随时又转回H4吗？（当然前提是我还有有效的H1）
-Just go out of US anytime to get the H4 visa to come back and he will be H4 holder again.

（问题#2只是怕485被拒后小孩的AOS失效从而没了身份）
-Even if he is out of status >> 180 days, it will not affect his GC application in the future as long as he is less than 18 years old when he re-files the I-485.
