急问PJANG老师及各位大虾:
谢谢PJANG老师对我前面问题的回答. 可能VP弄错了. 后来给人事部打电话, 公司人事部讲那2万美元是整个办绿卡的费用.
-Can not cost $20,000.

公司目前财务比较紧张, 正在犹豫是否为我申请绿卡. 后来我跟公司协商, 能否由我自己支付办绿卡的费用.

但公司人事部说, PERM办绿卡, 两年前有立法规定必须由雇主支付PERM办绿卡的所有费用, 不知是否属实?
-The employer is required to pay the attorney's fee and the advertisement fee for preparing, filing and obtaining the PERM labor certification based on DOL policy.

But USCIS does not require the employer to pay for the attorney fee or filing fee for the I-140 petition.

Of course, the I-485 filing fee is paid by the employee because it is irrelevant to the employer.

Many employees just pay all the fee and who care?
