Your study stage is ABD (All But Dissertation). Some position accept ABD originally for the job at low rank (e.g. Instructor) and then, promote to the formal position (e.g. Assitant Professor). I think you can ask your Chair (better) or Advisor (OK) to write a letter for you indicating you have completed the requirments for the degree.

ABD-A candidate for a doctorate who has completed all the requirements for the degree, such as courses and examinations, with the exception of the dissertation.
