想要一份我以前递交的移民材料的复印件

我想要一份我以前递交的移民材料的复印件(原来的丢了),请问在哪可以得到?网上可以吗?
是不是使馆扫描所有的材料?前面有人提到FOIA申请,那好象是美国的把?怎么申请,肯定有效吗? 因为它是收费的.
