为了更新DRIVER LICENSE， DMV 从我的USCIS 网上发现 我的身份有问题。 回学校国际中心询问， 被告是我在半年前从H１B转F１时， 得到F－１身份（１２月８号）后没有向国际中心报道。 事实是得到F－１身份（１２月８号）后， F－１ 直接被USCIS邮寄到国际中心， 我发EMAIL问国际中心， 他们告诉我已复印了我地被批准的I－２０ 和I－９４。所以我认为一切正常， 注册了学分， 做了RA工作。
-Your school International Student Office made a mistake that they did not put your F1 approval inofrmation into the SEVIS.

今天， 发现问题后，国际中心告诉我不得不REINSTATE 我的STATUS。 我的问题是：

１。REINSTATEMENT 我的 REINSTATE 的可能性。
-I do not think this will be a problem because it is obviously your school's fault.

如果被距， 我该怎么办？
-You have to leave US.


２。国际中心仅给我一个I－２０， 告诉我不能给老婆和孩子的I－２０，原因是他们说从USCIS网上打不出。 后又发EMAIL 告诉我原因是＂ Their status is connected to yours so nothing will have to be done to their status. Their status is whatever your status is.＂


３。 因为只有我个人的I－２０， 在添I－５３９FORM时， 国际中心 告诉我 仅添我个人申请（＂Fill it out that you are the only applicant＂）

肯请问， 国际中心关于I－２０ 和 I－５３９的意见对吗？
-Your name should be shown on the I-539, but your wife's and kid's names should have been inculded in the Form I-539-Supplement-1 (indicate that they changed their status from H4 to F2 with your F1 application together. Also, your wife's and kid's names should have been filled in the I-20 Dependent part. If all information was filled as I des-cribed here, they will be OK as long as your F1 is re-instated.

Have your wife and your kid received the F2 approval notice with the I-94 from USCIS when you received your F1 approval notice? If no, something may wrong. I am worry about whether your school messed up everything. Talk to your lawyer if necessary.


４。我从１２月８日到目是什么身份 ？算非法吗？
-Yes. But if your F1 is reinstated, the gap will be automatically filled.

考虑到我在一月份就丢了身份， 到现在已半年多， 是否对我们以后的入境有影响？
-Yes unless you reinstate your F1 within US.

５。 去 MEXICO 签证的可能性？
-No


６。去 CANADA 签证的可能性？
-No.

７。最严重的是小孩的 F－１刚被距，可能的原因就是查不到我的记录。我该怎样解决小孩的 F－１。是让他单独回大陆签证？
-No until his status is reinstated

回大陆签证的可能性有多大？考虑到我在一月份就丢了身份。
