-Five years if your GC is EB category.

2. 替美国公司在国内上班， 工资在美国开，所谓的expat, 工作年数算不算在申请公民须等待时间内呢？
-After you get your GC, you need to come back to US to get the Reentry Permit (RP) and file N-470. Read the N-470 and I-131 Instructions for more details.
