我老公L1A续签在移民局还没批下来，他的签证月底就到期了。他的律师说如果月底还没有消息，他可以在美国边工作边等，不用回加拿大等（加绿卡），我们担心过了月底那不是非法滞留吗。律师说的对吗？真的很揪心。谢谢。
-The lawyer is right. As long as he filed the L1 extension application before the L1 I-94 expires, he can contniue to work legally.
