Greened eventually! Here is what happened...

My case was updated to CARD ORDER since Oct. 2008. I did a couple of service request in 2008 to find out WHY, and was told under review.
I just requested a search on my son's case on June 7th. The letter came in yesterday saying there is no visa number available since PD is out the cut-off date, which is ridiculous! I called USCIS and explained everything but she said she can't help. Then I asked her to transfer me to someone that can help. I repeated the problem and asked him to search my case, same as my son's - no visa number available, even more info -both case were granted in 2008. He also confirmed my PD and it was within cut-off date.
Well, he said he can'd do anything to further assist me. I insist on filing a service request. Got myself prepared to go to congressmen's office. Here it comes - a message in this morning saying both cases were updated to Decision!
