回复：父母绿卡面试请教各位老师

我给父母4月初提交的申请，今天收到面试通知(I-797C Request for applicant to appear for initial interview)。有些问题请教各位老师，多谢了！

1.我是申请人sponsor，老公是co-sponsor。我爸妈和我不在同一个city。我或者我老公一定要和我爸妈一同面试吗？
-Not really, but one of you or your relative had better be interpreter.

2.我妈有急事要在面试后回国，AP申请了但不知什么时候收到。我看到有的人面试后移民官给母亲护照上盖上一年有效的临时绿卡。

请问临时绿卡需要在面试通过后提出特别申请吗？
-No. But USCIS has to approve her I-485, and then she can get the green card stamp. Most of parents'GC cases will not be approved immediately after the interview, so your mother may have to wait for a while to get the GC or GC stamp after the interview.
