-No.

2. Dependent's current H-4 will be valid till next year. However when they come back with AP, they will be in AOS. Will they be able to extend their H-4 status after becoming AOS?
-Yes, just file the H4 extension before the expiration date. Using AP does not affect the h4 extension and after the H4 extension approval, their status will become H4 again.
