美国大学博士后工资到底有多少?

现在我在一所大学做博士后，工资为$32，000/per year. 目前项目进展不错，要与老板续签工作合同，想要求涨工资，但不知道自己该向老板提多少，请问各位朋友你们的工资都是多少呀? 听说有的学校现在都给4万多了，真的吗? 提前谢谢你们的答复!
