Switch roles between spouses for pending I-485s

We filed I-485s based my approved EB2 I-140 petition back to 2007. Now my spouse's EB1 I-140 got approved. EB1 is current for all counties. Can we transfer our pending I-485s to the EB1 I-140 petition? Is this kind switch roles between primary applicant and derivative applicant allowed? How we approach this? amend pending I-485?
