My in-laws have the same situation as my parents, instead of having a new passport, they extend their old passports, when the US visa officer saw their old visa and old stamps (showing how long they stay in Canada), he refused to grant their visa to USA.A year later, when my in-laws applied again, they got rejected again.

What can I do, be honest or not ?
