PJIANG老师,恕我愚钝。我的理解是假如我在回国前就拿到新的H-4，我回来就肯定没有问题了，对吧？而且我在国内签证也应用新的H-4，对吗？
-Your H4 visa is dependent on your spouse's H1 approval notice, not your H4 approval notice which is useless to you after you go out of U.S. You can use your spouse's new H1 approval notice to get the H4 visa in China so that your H4 I-94 will be the same duration as your spouse's new H1. You also can use the old H1 approval notice (if it is still valid when you return to U.S.) to get the H4 visa, but your H4 I-94 will be the same duration as the old H1 and thus, you need to extend your H4 after you return to U.S.
