看了皮匠的帖子，好像和我的情况不是完全对得上。来请教一下皮匠，8大侠，及其他高人。

我的H1六年期限是今年初到期，学校为保险，先申请了一年extension，批了。三月file PERM-based I-140。现在我想file Eb-1b，新的H1是明年一月初到期，那我现在

1）可以file I-140 PREMIUM PROCESSING吗？
-Yes, you can use Premium processing for your I-140 (new or pending) any time.

还是说等到离expire date 六个月时才能用Premium Processing？
-Irrelevant.

2）可以e-file Premium Processing吗？
-No.
3）e-file时，是直接up-load cover letter, 然后寄上推荐信，文凭等documents吗？
-Follow the e-file instructions and then, send all the support documents by mail immediately to the USCIS address in the E-filed confirmation receipt (print it out in the end of efile and put this confirmation letter on the top of your support documents in the mail packet).

另外，貌似本人 人缘不错 （;-)) 发出的请人帮忙写推荐信的都写了，这样一来就有了11封信。记得有人分享说有个6或7封就好，

那我是不是选六 七封用呢？
-Yes.

另外，是不是国家分布越广越好？
-Some people say that.

我现在有亚洲 欧洲和北美。

美国公民是否更好？
-Irrelevant.

另外有一多年朋友，是美国一著名think tank的高级顾问，但不是直接在我这领域的学者，他的推荐信我该不该用呢？
-If he does not understand your major or his job is unrelated to your major, it will not be helpful to use this kind of letter.
