What status is best for my daughter when she goes to college?

NIW, 140 proved, still wait for turning in 485. My daughter will go to college soon, and in order for her be able to work, I am thinking about changing her status from H4 to F1. What option does she have? Does it have any negative effect on green card application? Thanks in advance to the experts.
