我现在是H1B身份，老公是绿卡（他估计还要再等1-2个月才能公民宣誓）。VISA BULLETIN显示今年5月我就可以递交485了（按照根绿卡持有者结婚的排期）。 最近NATIONAL VISA CENTER经常给我们写信递交一些文件以及填写表格。下面我有一些问题，希望863211老师及其他有经验的朋友能帮忙解答。非常感谢！！

我现在不清楚这个USCIS 和NATIONAL VISA CENTER有什么区别了？
-NVC is only responsible for the GC application using consular processing (get the immigration visa/GC outside U.S.). USCIS approve GC application (e.g. I-485) within U.S. So, I think soemthing is wrong/confused in your case becouse you are physically present in U.S. and plan to file I-485.

是不是NVC只负责收取数据，最后还是由USCIS负责？

NVC的意思好像是按照他们的要求一步一步的递交文件（刚写了一个3032确认地址的表格，交了70块手续费，估计下一步是交I864).
-You do not need to pay the I-864 filing fee ($70). My suggestion is that you need to contact NVC that you will file I-485 within U.S. and do not plan to using consular processing to get the immigratioin visa outside U.S. and ask NVC to stop processing your case.

Then, when the PD becomes current, you just directly file I-485 to USCIS based on your approved I-130.

可485不是应该交给USCIS CHICAGO LOCKBOX吗？

我究竟是5/1号排期一到就可以把485及所有的文件邮寄到485指定的USCIS地址，还是需要一步一步按照NVC的要求做？


最让我头疼的是昨天去NVS读文章，说到什么CASE NUMBER开头三个数字代表什么使馆地址？我的是LND开头的，代表LONDON。不会到时候让我去伦敦面试什么的吧？5555
