母亲是公民，孩子13岁，是以政治庇护家属身份去年进入美国的，他有社安号和绿卡号码
但没有绿卡，我想请问，孩子是否需要有了绿卡后才能成为公民，还是不需要有有了绿卡后就可变成公民。
-The kid needs to get the GC first. After getting the GC, the kid can automatically get the US citizenship through application for his/her US passport or filing N-600 application for the Certificate of Citizenship.
