出关时没交I-94(丢失)如何证明是十年前离境的? 找街道出证明?

请诸位大侠解难！出关时没交I-94(丢失)如何证明是十年前离境的?


十多年前我还在读书期间,母亲来美帮助照顾孩子。因延期申请丢失（支票被取了，但没收到任何回音)，母亲回去时已逾期逗留半年，而且出关时还没交I-94（和延期申请一起丢失了）。现在我工作多年，经济条件比那时好很多，真想接母亲过来玩玩，可不知母亲如何才能获取签证，因为当年的机票存根也没了,不知道怎样证明母亲当年的离境日期。

下面有位网友建议找街道出证明,美领馆认吗?
