1.h1还有两年才到期，现在的工作5月31号结束，新工作8月15号开始，这算有gap吗？
-Yes, but you can still stay in US during the transfer is pending or if your current h1 I-94 is still valid from May 31 to Aug. 14. If your I-94 will expire on May 31 and your H1 transfer is approved before Aug. 15, there will be a status gap between the h1 transfer approval date and the new H1 effective date.

2.是现在开始申请，还是5月31号以后？
-You need to file the h1 transfer before May 31 (USCIS need to recieve your transfer petition before May 31). So, you may ask your new employer to prepare the h1 transfer documents from now on and send the petition to USCIS around May 20.

3.lca的开始日期要填8月15号，对吗？
-Yes. This h1 effective date and the ending date (e.g. 3 years later) needs to be indicated in the Form I-129.
