我最近身体不好，家人想来照顾。但是我的H1B签证5月底就过期了，需要延期。如果我的父母过来，他们是不是只能呆到5月份，5月份以后就要出境，再用新的i797表格入境？
-Not really. Your parents normally will get the I-94 duration of 6 months at the port of entry and thus they can stay in US for 6 months.

如果他们现在去北京签证，签证官会给他们多长时间呢？
-This is not decided by the visa officer who only can give the visa or not. 他们多长时间 in U.S. is determined by the immigration officer at the port of entry when your parents enter U.S.

如果我的配偶过来，他是不是也一样要在5月份出境，然后再申请H4再次入境？
-Yes or not, but he can extend his h4 within U.S if you file the H1 extension.

我听说可以在美国给他申请h4,但不直到具体怎末做。
-You can get your H1 extension approved, then your spouse can use your new h1 approval notice to apply for the H4 visa and thus, he can enter US and stay as length as you.

Or he can get the H4 visa to enter U.S. using your current H1 approval notice and then, file the h4 extension within U.S. when you file your h1 extension (see above answer). You can file H1 extension first, and then he can file H4 extension later before his I-94 expires (May 2010).
