我有一个朋友的女儿来美国读高中，拿的J1交换学生，她想留下来，换成F1的签证，不知是否需要办赦免。如果需要，怎么办？
-Mots likely she needs to go out of U.S. to get the F1 visa to come back. Not need J1 waiver (J1 waiver is needed to apply for h1 or GC, not F1).

还有一个问题，她可以办社安号么？
-No unless she is offered a part-time job on-campus.
