Got company wide pay cut for 10% second half of last year. Found a new job. When negotiating salary, told them the salary before pay cut. Just found I have to give pay stub to do h1 transfer.

Do I need to explain it to the new empolyer?
-Not need. The paycheck stub is the evidence that your H1 status is valid (show USCIS that you are working during your H1 status), and nothing is related to your new employment.
