I had the same problem, there is space in my first name on the Visa, no space in the passport. When the doctor filled I-693, he also put space there. I explained in the cover letter for I-485, no problem after that (I asked the technician for finger print, he told me no problem, it is very common). I got the green card and there is no space now.
