由于身体不适需要申请short term disability，有几个问题请教：

1。 身体完全恢复后去上班公司在短期内以其他理由开人会有很高的法律风险么？
-If the employer wants to lay off you, they will find a safe reason because most employment in U.S. is at will. So, I do not think there is 很高的法律风险 for the employer to do that.

一般他们这样做的可能性如何？
-Hard to say.

2。 如果短期休假结束后仍然不适的话申请long term disability是否就没有被开的危险？
-Hard to say.

3。 如果在修病假期间绿卡排期到了而且移民局又碰巧申请补件，short termdisability和long term disability的状态对绿卡申请有影响么？
-if the long term disability benefits are provided by Government, it is possible that may affect your GC application. Short-term disability benefits should be OK to GC application.

两者有没有差别？
