的那家公司四月份为我申请h1b的话，如果说我五月份能拿到H1b，因为我只有等到十月一日以后才能开始工作，那么在开始工作之前我可以留在美国等待吗? （我的I-94是明年十月到期）
-If you stop working for your current employer, you will be out of status technically, but you can leglly stay because your I-94 does not expire. But the problem is that if your are out of status > 180 days, you can not file i-485 in the future. Also your visa application may have a problem outside U.S. if you are out of status for too long. So, you had better keep your current job until Oct. 1.
