公民申请想递就递，回国想走就走，反正appointment都可以延期。除了打指模的时间几乎可以肯定是申请递上去一个月的样子，interview和oath都不好说。我的oath是延期的，就是写封信和appointment letter一起寄回去，说明理由要求延期就行了。我在interview之后，oath之前回国了一次，exactly like what you said，easy without the hassle of getting a chinese visa。
