回复：B2转L2的问题，请教各位高手

我2010年2月底还要回国一趟，4月左右再来美国。
我想现在办保险，但是要SSN，所以要换成L2身份。
但是不知道可否在美国直接把B2换成L2？
-Yes, you can change your B2 status to L2 within U.S.

会不会对下次返签有影响？
-You can apply for the L2 visa in the fufure and it is much easier than application for B2 visa because B2 visa is dual intent (allow you to have immigration intent).

ps：我老公现在也没有保险，可否让公司给他办一个family保险然后cover我？
-Technically, yes, but depends on the company policy.

这样的话我是否还是需要SSN？
-Depends on the insurance policy. Some insurance may does not care and as long as you prove your legally status, it may be OK.
