本人持绿卡近三年，未离开过美国(除08年一个月探亲)。现想去欧洲国家工作一到两年，借机旅游。不知对将来公民申请有何影响
-You need to apply for the Reentry permit (RP) for the travel and this RP will alow you to stay outside U.S. for a maximum of two years without affecting your GC validity. If the company you will work for is a U.S. company, you also need to file Form N-470 - Application to Preserve Residence for Naturalization Purposes so that the time you stay outside U.S. will be counted as the physical presence for your future US citizensgip application. So, you need to get RP and N-470 approval to work outside U.S. in this case if you want to keep your GC and apply for U.S. citizenship using the time you spend outside U.S.

If the company you will work is not a U.S. company, you can not file N-470. In this case, if you stay/work outside U.S. more than 6 months, your physical presence for U.S. citizenship application will be disrupted. in other words, your physical presence in U.S. will become zero (your previous 3 year physical prsence is gone).
