my mum filed a I-130 for me (2B). I moved to USA from Canada as H4B. Do I need to update my current address in USA to USCIS? and how? thanks. btw My mother's address remains the same. Although I do not live with her, can I use my mother's address?
-You do not need to file the address change. But the problem is that whether your mother indicated in the I-130 that your will get the immigration visa in Canada by consular processing or you will file I-485 within U.S. to get the green card. If your mother indicated in the form I-130 that you will get the immigration visa in canada and you actually moved to U.S.and will file I-485 later, your mother needs to inform the National Visa Center about that after I130 approval. You just need to file the I-485 when the priority date becomes current.
